The vol­ley­ball team got off to a slow start and fin­ished just 5–29 on the year after a 16-match skid to start the sea­son. Sopho­more Carle Ax was named to the Col­lege Sports Infor­ma­tion Direc­tors of Amer­ica (CoSIDA) Aca­d­e­mic All-District team, becom­ing the first player in the vol­ley­ball program’s brief his­tory to earn the accolade.
